Afua padded through the pride lands alone. Something he was a bit accustomed to…
Sabini frowned, and paddled closer to him, making sure not to splash his face. I had no idea how insecure he is.. She nudged him gently, and offered a reassuring smile. “Well, you’re doing a fine job of hiding it because I could hardly tell the weight loss… Care to tell me what happened exactly?” She murmured, her voice soothing and calming. Even this surprised her a tad. She usually wasn’t the one to be so…. nice. I guess this is some of my.. nurturing instincts coming in… I didn’t even know I could act this way… We’ll see how long this lasts.
He returned her smile appreciating her gentleness with him. “Its been a few weeks since I really woke up and forced myself to hunt again. I’ve started looking more normal that’s why you can’t tell.” He stared at her for a few moments and nodded. Of every one he knew this lion had gone through some of the worst things so she was bound to be more understanding. “I had a wonderful mate. She became pregnant with my cubs. I had never been more in love or more proud. One day she disappeared for weeks. I didn’t know what happened but she then appeared dirty and wounded. She had tried to hunt and got kicked. Well I tried to nurse her back to health but the wound went bad and she started dying. she asked me to try getting the cubs out and I tried. But none of them made it. I had to watch my mate slowly die and I couldn’t save my cubs.” He looked away forcing himself not to cry again.

Afua padded through the pride lands alone. Something he was a bit accustomed to as of late. He had ventured off to try and find himself again after the death of his mate and cubs. Now…
Sabini looked over idly, a calm expression on her face. Her smile changed to a neutral one though when she noticed that something was bothering him. It wasn’t obvious though, so she brushed it off. She had always had a gift for reading others, but she knew that sometimes they wished to be left alone. So she would wait patiently until he brought it up, or let it go if he didn’t. “So, Afua, tell me, what have you been up to lately?” She asked lazily, her eyes half-closed. She usually wasn’t good with this small talk, but she didn’t mind the company, so she decided to put a little effort into it.
He sighed deeply at the leopardess’s question, silently thinking of how to answer. He was appreciative that she didn’t pry but at the same time he wanted more people to talk to. “I have been gone for a while. Something happened and I became very depressed and let myself go. Lost weight, fur was just not as nice. so I left for a while trying to build myself back up I guess you could say.” He turned in the water and offered a weak smile. “The only other lion I have talked to recently is my father.” He was afraid to talk to others even though he got lonely. What if no one cared or thought him whiny?

Psh my dad basically raised me on comic books so I’ve been a fan for a while…
I love them all, so making me choose would be cruel :3
Iron man was my favorite but thor quickly gained popularity plus hemsworth is so fine. Hawkeye was so kickas in the movie too though. His arms were just so huge. I read comics all the time actually. red lantern, new guardians. I am a huge fan of wolverine gambit, hulks son skaar, x-23 and daken.

Azuru heard a noise behind him and quickly turned to see what it was. He was greeted by the sight of a lone lion “Hi there, what’s your name?” he asked as he sat back on his haunches.
Afua found that he often wandered away from the pridelands when he got to lonely or sad over past memories. He rarely even paid attention to were he went. He heard a voice and stopped to look up. A male lion appearing to be alone was addressing him. “I’m Afua. How about you?”

AFUA QUICKFOOT: Where is everyone?
Afua padded through the pride lands alone. Something he was a bit accustomed to as of late. He had ventured off to try and find himself again after the death of his mate and cubs. Now he was home and had yet to see any of his family or friends. He had finally gained…
Sabini looked uncertain, though she relented and sauntered back to Afua, a comical expression on her face. “I guess it was pretty funny, huh.” She said, laughing whole-heartedly now, over the fact that she looked ridiculous. To make things lighter, when she reached Afua, she shook and sent water flying all over him. “Now that’s funny.” She stated, looking at his now damp coat.
He grinned at her and nodded. “Yep I had a good chuckle while I watched.” Afua was a bit surprised to hear her jolly laugh. Last time he had talked to her she had been injured and very depressed. This was a good change. Water droplets suddenly rained down all over him. He pretended to be angry as water dripped off his face and his ear tufts. He stuck out his tongue and walked past her. While she wasn’t looking he took a moment to bump her behind with his hips and sent her flying back into the water. “Oops sorry about that!” He rolled around in the warm dirt and laughed. It felt good to have fun again.
She noticed his surprise, and grimaced. She knew she could be in a bad mood a lot, but she had almost forgotten the reputation she had gained. She was about to say something convincing when she felt a shove, and suddenly was back in the water. Under the surface, she opened her eyes to peer around the murky depths, anger welling up in her. She swam back up the the surface, and grinned cheekily at him. “I actually am very fond of the water, so thank you.” She said smugly, winking. She spewed a small stream of water out of her mouth at his face, and laughed. “Come on in, the water’s fine!”
He watched her different facial expressions and just grinned at her with a big cheesy grin. She didn’t at first seem pleased with her sudden bath but she shrugged it off and shot a stream of water at him. “Ha I bet you are lady leopard.” He backed up a few steps and then took a running jump before splashing into the water, sending drops every were. “Hey you were right it is nice!” He floated on his back lazily and sighed. This was one of the first times he had had fun since the accident. He didn’t want to admit it but it was fun. He still felt sad and a bit guilty though deep down.

Now he was home and had yet to see any of his family or friends. He had finally gained back all his weight. His legs once again strong and his mane full and thick. He sighed wishing to end his loneliness and padded toward the waterhole in hopes of finding company.
Sabini was lapping up the water calmly, smiling when she saw the small ripples that followed. She looked down at her reflection, her expression a little curious. She hadn’t seen her reflection in a very long time, and was surprised by the change in her face. Namely, the fact that it had gotten a lot thinner, and slender. Suddenly, she sneezed, accidentally dunking her head straight into the water. When she pulled out, she was sopping and growling, as some of the water had gotten stuck up her nose.
She looked over, noticing Afua for the first time. A look of sheer embarrassment was now on her face. “Oh…. hey there… Guessing you saw all of that just happen. The water up my nose, the looking at myself in the water… I’m just going to go now.” She murmured, slinking off quickly in the opposite direction, still sopping wet.
When the male lion had reached the water hole he noticed a familiar spotted pelt hunched over staring into the water. A smile came to his muzzle realizing it was Sabini. He hadn’t spoken to her in ages. He watched quietly as she stared and sneezed managing to dunk her head full on into the water. He chuckled to himself in amusement at the sight.
When he realized she noticed him he smiled in a friendly manner. He could tell how embarrassed she must be. He padded over and shook his head. “Don’t go. Hey I have done stuff like that all the time. Besides I won’t tell anyone.” He grinned at her suavely.
